12 Years Ago…. I died.

Some of you are wondering what could’ve happened. How could you have died? Was it a medical problem? Was it a car accident? Did they resuscitate you and bring you back to life?  It wasn’t that I, my body, died. It was the flesh that died. Let me explain.

Months before August 19th, 2012, I heard my name twice at every altar call. “Tiffany. Tiffany.” I thought it was my cousins joking with me. I thought it was my mom warning me to be quiet or else she was going to take me to the restroom and teach me how to be quiet. Some of you that grew up in church know exactly what I mean lol. Anyways, that voice was soft, quiet but very moving. But I didn’t understand, until this day, 12 years ago, God called me. An altar called was pulled but it was something the pastor said that drew a sensitivity to that voice. He said, “You hear God calling your name, and He’s tugging at your heart.” God was. There was a tug in my heart every time I heard my name called. I can’t explain to you how in that moment I went from being stubborn and cold hearted in my chair to crying my way down to the altar with a heart of repentance. I was touched. God was working on my heart for months and August 19th, 2012 was the day of salvation. I gave my life completely to Jesus and you know what? It hasn’t been easy, but I tell you it’s been worth it. I love my Jesus and I’m going to keep shouting and proclaiming His holy name everywhere I go. He's taking me on a journey I never thought I could go through or be blessed by. But I'm telling you, giving your heart to Jesus changes everything for good, even when it doesn't look good. IT IS GOOD! He is good!

I have died to the flesh and I am raised to life in Christ! The old me is gone, and the new me has begun! I am a new creation! I am made new!! Hallelujah!!

If you haven’t given your life to Christ, then what’s stopping you? Stubbornness? Bitterness? Unforgiveness? Hatred-towards God or someone else? Sin-like drinking, fornicating, smoking, etc. You just feel like you can't give that stuff up. You don't want to follow some strict rules from a God you don't know. You may feel as though you're too far gone and can never be restored. THE ARE NOTHING BUT LIES FROM THE DEVIL! You're never too far gone. But my question to you is: Why would you want to gain the world, who would only chew you up and spit you out, and lose your soul? Life is short and Jesus is coming back sooner than we think. I’m just here to tell you , it’s time to stop playing games with God and get right. Give your life to Christ today! Today is the day of salvation!

Be blessed 🙏🏼
