#1 Getting Start

Okay, so this first blog may be awkward. How? Well, I've been asking this question. How do I start? I thought to talk about some topics that would be hard hitting, or start with sharing who I am. But I am lost for words for my first blog. Then again, that question made me realize how many times I have asked myself this question. For a job. For friends. For God's calling.

#3 De-fense! De-fense! De-fense!

Basketball is one of my favorite sports to play. I haven't played in quite a while, I'm a little too old to play. Yes, I may be in my mid-twenties but I'm telling you, your girl's joints, muscles and bones are not like what they used to be in high school.

#5 Apply Pressure

Have you ever noticed when pressure is applied to a wounded or painful area, it stops it? When you're in pain perhaps in your back, your stomach maybe your leg, wouldn't you grab it and apply pressure? How about a headache? Have you ever applied pressure to your temples and your headache began to slowly cease tension? Think of about someone who was bleeding out. What do paramedics usually do?

#7 A Valley of Dry Bones

God can bring you to a place that is dead to speak through you to bring something back to life. Could be a friendship, a family member, a relationship, a marriage. God can turn anything and everything around with a word. In Genesis 1:1, yes, the beginning, remember when God spoke a few words, ""let there be light," and you know what happened? Boom! There was light.

#13 Concentrate and Consecrate pt. 2

Since we discussed on concentrating, I'd like to talk about consecrating. I feel as though concentrating and consecrating go hand in hand and are much alike. First let's know the definition of consecrate. Consecrating is to make or declare sacred, to set apart, dedicate or devote to the service and worship of God (av1611.com).

#18 Perfection

My friend, I cannot lie to you. It's been a rollercoaster for me for the past month. A little after releasing my first book, I know God led me to write, I felt an immediate slap of opposition and resistance against me. The battles were spiritual, mental, emotional and physical. It was as if I lost every bit of strength and drive to get up and continue.

#19 Dating: Quality over Quantity

I remember when I was a kid, I used to get allowance. One day my brother had gotten a $50 dollar bill for his allowance, and I had $20. He asked if we I wanted to trade him. Now that I am older, I believe he was just teasing me.

#25 Do You Trust Your Foundation?

My sweet dear grandmother loved having a garden. She'd take me almost every morning, at least it felt like every morning, to K-Mart to go buy more flowers, plants, seeds and soil. This woman loved the fresh smell of nature.

I've been realizing and learning with God that I have hid the real Tiffany for some time now. I've been apologetic for being myself without even noticing. I've let others make decisions for me. I've let others snatch the pen out of my Gods hands and write my story. Just like many others do as well.

How can we retain physical growth if we're not willing to seek and retain spiritual growth? There has to be a willing mindset and wholehearted love in the Lord to accept His challenging spiritual growth in us. It won't be easy, but like He says in Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend." We are to be the body of Christ, but if the body of Christ has no strong endurance in spiritual growth, the body is weak then. The church is weak then. Sharpening, which is one of many steps for spiritual growth, isn't the greatest feeling, but it's what builds a spiritually functional and strong body.
